Presentation of Russian Cheerlading Federation

 

Founded in August 1999 jn the base of the club ASSOL that is now the biggest chearleading club in Russia. At the moment 43 reagonal cheerleading federations are the members of the Russian Cheerleading Federation.

 

There are from 80 to 100 teams competing in the National Finals every year.

RCF develop cheerleading in Russia for all age divisions and in all traditional nominations.

In 2002 RCF became a member of ECA and IFC.

Since then Russian cheerleading teams have constantly participated atEuropean and International Championships.

 

Significant sports achievements:

ECC/JECC 2006

Junior group stunt all female – 1st and 3rd place.

Individual cheerleader junior – 3rd place

Individual cheerleader senior – 3rd place

Cheer all female senior – 3rd place

 

ECC/JECC 2008

Cheer mix senior – 2nd place

 

ECC/JECC 2009

Cheer dance junior – 3rd place

 

CWC 2009

Cheer dance senior – 3rd place

 

In 2005 the Junior ECC was held in Moscow. There were ten countries participating in the Championships: Austria, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Ukraine. 51 teams (about 450 athletes) competed in Moscow. For Poland and Ukraine it was a first appearance on the European arena.
